What’s up!

Here is a quick update…I don’t want this site to fossilize so here goes.

Mesha is in the thick of high school diving, her first meet it this Thursday and we are looking forward to it. Owen just transitioned to his toddler bed, he is getting up an average of 5 times before he goes to sleep. He keeps telling us he wants a rockabye, which is so sweet and I usually give in, Dad does not. He’s too cute, growing up fast and so two right now. Emerie is really into learning and can’t wait to go to kindergarten. Wow, I really need to update this site more, I feel like I am writing a Christmas letter:-)

The big thing going on right now is in Stephan’s life, he will be leaving on Thursday morning for a mission trip to San Francisco. “San Francisco”, you might say, “doesn’t sound like a mission trip to me”. He is going to help with a church start called southbay church. If you click on the link you can find out more information about it. San Francisco is the 5th largest metropolitan area in the United States with 7 million people. It also has the highest median household income in the nation. Unfortunately, 95% of the population is unchurched. So being in the Silicon Valley/San Francisco area, if you know Stephan you know this is right up his alley. It is the great commission among his fellow geeks and I think it is awesome that God is using him in this way. Of course not everyone who comes to this church will be a tech savvy employee of google or yahoo, but the odds of them being in that industry is high, and Stephan has a special place in his heart for the geek chic set. So please pray for him as he will be gone until Monday. Pray that God will do great things at South Bay Church this weekend!
