Emerie had her first dance recital today, she performed twice, in “Beauty school dropout” & “At the hop.” She danced her little heart out, and got her first ratz doll a.k.a bratz doll in return. It’s cute, and tasteful, a water toy. In lieu of flowers we finally gave in on the bratz doll toy, she was becoming a bit obsessed. I’ll just keep my fingers crossed that this doll doesn’t lead her down the path straight to hell…with heavy mexican accent: I yest yoking…:-)
Between the two dance performances we had our neighborhood garage sale, that’s always so much fun. We talk to neighbors and I enjoy peddlin’ junk out of my garage, haggling, and people watching. Love me a good garage sale. Mom came down and told us all about her great time at Fleetwood Mac last night. Got her re-connected with Twitter, @lindamadison if you care to check her out.
Mesha went to Columbia, MO last night to compete in the Tigertown challenge at MU. GO TIGERS. She came back with a third place medal in the 16-18 age bracket competing against nine other girls from the midwest. Not too shabby if I do say so myself, but then I’m biased.
Then tonight I got some pretty colored pictures, stuffed animals, cards, a big ol’flower for my hair, and the coolest little dell hacked by my husband to run OSX, which has inspired me to start writing again…
Today was a good day
